Howdy, Alex with Built Tight Carpentry here, based in beautiful San Marcos, TX. Our approach to woodworking is rooted in a philosophy that's laser focused on precision and quality, while maintaining efficiency and productivity. If it is made out of wood, we can build it. Quality is time and time is money. To be quite honest, we may not be the cheapest option for your project, but we guarantee we will produce the absolute best end product. If it ain't built tight, it ain't build right.
Meet The Team
Alexander Schultz
Owner/operator of BTC. Alex has lives in San Marcos for over 20 years. He attended Texas State University where he was Vice President of the Construction Student Association and earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. Alex has 15 years of carpentry experience that ranges from residential framing and custom cabinetry to tree houses and building blocks. In his free time Alex enjoys spending time at the ballpark watching his young son swing for the fences and performing on local stages as a singer and songwriter.
